We’ve come to the end of another wonderful term! Thank you dancers for working so hard, thank you parents for your ongoing support and thank you to our fabulous team of teachers for working tirelesly with such care and dedication.

Latest News
We’re delighted that Matilda has been offered a sought after place for Royal Ballet School Spring Intensive course which she will attend in April 2025.
She was also offered English National Ballet School Autumn Intensive this past half term.
Bella, Luciana and Sophia also applied for Royal Ballet School Spring Intensive and have all been offered wait list places.
We’re thrilled for Matilda LM who has just received news of an offer from Northern School of Contemporary Dance for their degree programme starting next autumn once she has finished her A-levels.
Having attended the summer intensive at Rambert School, Zak was offered direct entry to Rambert’s Saturday Pre-vocational programme. Charlotte was also offered a place following a successful audition at the start of this term.

Gaia and Annis have recently attended an audition for Royal Ballet School Associates which they thoroughly enjoyed.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed for you.
Zak was invited to do some filming of the Grade 8 syllabus at the Royal Academy of Dance. This will be featured on their You Tube channel and general marketing.
Zak is also busy with National Youth Dance Company - he is in the performance company for 2025 - and Chance to Dance at the Royal Opera House.

RAD Ballet Exams
A record 94 students took their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) exams at the end of term both in our Brighton studio and at RAD HQ in London.
We had 3 days of exams, class awards and solo performance awards in our Brighton studio (Church of the Good Shepherd Hall). The levels ranged from Pre-Primary to Grade 8.
Well done to everyone for all the hard work this term!

Starting on Pointe…
Exciting times for these students who have worked hard at pre-pointe preparation with exercises and strengthening work ready for the progression onto pointe.

Modern, Contemporary, Jazz and more…

We offer a full range of ISTD modern classes as well contemporary and jazz / musical theatre.

ISTD Modern
Further ISTD modern classes have been added this term from Grade 1 to Grade 6 / Intermediate Foundation.
Pupils are all working hard and are aiming to take their exams in the summer term.
Jazz, Contemporary, Stretch & Technique
We run Jazz and Contemporary classes from age 9+ (possibly younger depending on experience) as well as Stretch & Technique classes which help students improve flexibility and core strength. Please get in touch to find out more and book a taster.
Classes for Adults
Our adult Intermediate level ballet class on Wednesday mornings can be booked on a drop in or block booking basis.
Pending sufficient numbers we may introduce a beginners / improvers adult ballet class. Please get in touch if you are interested.
Adults are also welcome to attend higher grade and vocational classes. Three adults took higher grade and vocational exams this term!
Workshops
Our themed workhops which we ran during the summer holidays and more recently at the end of this term are proving to be very popular.
The children learned about ballets such as Swan Lake and Cinderella and made crafts including decorating pointe shoes.
A big thank you to Miss Sian for running these workshops and to Lois for helping out and inspiring the children during the summer workshop.
We hope to run more in 2025.

Exam Dates: Provisional Brighton RAD ballet exams - 3rd / 4th April 2025 Provisional RAD HQ ballet exams - 24th March - 2nd April 2025.
Uniform
We work with specially selected suppliers with a view to providing you with good quality, reasonably priced dancewear.
A stock of second hand uniform is also available from time to time (contact us for details) as well as a facebook page for buying and selling uniform.
