Adult Ballet Classes
Class Details and Term Dates
We offer trial, “drop in” and half term course rates for adult classes.
Tuesday classes are not available as “drop in”, however the first class can be booked as a trial before committing to a course of classes.
Wednesday classes are available as both “drop in” and “block booking”.
Each half term is between 5 - 7 weeks so the half term block rates will vary depending on the length of the half term.
AUTUMN TERM 2025
First Half Term:
Tuesdays: 9th September - 21st October (7 weeks)
Wednesdays: 10th September - 22nd October (7 weeks)
Second Half Term:
Tuesdays: 4th November - 9th December (6 weeks)
Wednesdays: 5th November - 10th December (6 weeks)
Beginners / Improvers Ballet
Tuesday, 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Gate House Studio, British Engineerium, Hove, BN3 7QA
Suitable for adults with limited ballet experience. Learn the basics of ballet technique and experience a wonderful work out for both body and mind.
Class Fees: £12.00 trial class which can then be refunded against half term course:
£55.00 for 5 weeks, £66.00 for 6 weeks, £77.00 for 7 weeks.
Intermediate Ballet
Wednesday, 10:00 am - 11:15 am
Church of the Good Shepherd Hall, Dyke Road, Brighton BN1 5AE
Suitable for adults with previous experience, either those currently practising ballet at Intermediate or more advanced level or those returning to ballet after a break. We tailor the settings to suit different abilities so that everyone feels suitably supported and challenged.
Class Fees: £12.50 drop in, £55.00 for 5 weeks, £66.00 for 6 weeks, £77.00 for 7 weeks half term block.
Beginners / Improvers TAP - NEW CLASS
Thursday, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Octagon Studio, Cardinal Newman School (6th form)
Upper Drive, Hove, BN3 6ND
Suitable for beginners or those wanting to brush up their tap skills. Tap dance is a fun and energietic style of dance combining rhythm and coordination. It is not just a great physical work out but is stimulating for the mind and has social benefits too.
Class Fees: £33.00 for a 3 week introductory course on 11th, 18th, 25th September 2025.
