Alta Academy of Dance Uniform
We provide a full uniform service to save you cost and time, thanks to the partnerships we have with UK dancewear suppliers.
We are delighted to be working with Dansez, a UK dancewear company producing sustainable dancewear. We are proud to be aligned with companies and brands who are doing their bit to reverse climate change and who repurpose waste into high quality dancewear. Dansez is the first dancewear producer to use ECONYL® regenerated fibre, transforming nylon waste into new clothing.
As well as leotards, tights and shoes, we have our smart Alta Academy of Dance jackets, which are perfect to wear to and from classes. We also provide matching skin tone tights and shoes and can advise on pointe shoe fittings.
Correct uniform should be worn for classes with long hair tied back off the face and appropriately styled.

Alta Academy Jackets
Our jackets are beautifully made with soft fabric. They come in flattering female and male styles.
Please note there may be a 6-8 week lead time if your size is not in stock.
Hair
Hair should be neat, tidy and kept clear of the face for all classes.
From Grade 1 upwards hair should be styled in a Ballet Bun. If hair is short, it should be pinned back either with clips or a plain headband.
Jewellery
For health & safety reasons, jewellery should be kept to a minimum.
Earrings (studs are acceptable), however all necklaces, rings and watches should be removed for class.
Nail Varnish
Please refrain from wearing bright coloured nail varnish to class as it detracts from the line of hands.
If you wish to wear nail varnish please choose colours such as pale pink.
