Our summer term newsletter has landed on the same day as A level results. Today we celebrate all our dancers (some pictured here) who took their A level exams in the summer term. We hope you got the results you wanted.🤞 We wish 3 of our A level leavers: Matilda, Mitzi and Jasmine all the very best for their next chapter. We will miss you all. ❤️ Others haven’t left us just yet as they are continuing with classes next term while on their gap year. 😊🥰 A little plug for Mitzi (pictured bottom right) who is playing the role of Eponine in Brighton Theatre Group’s production of Les Misérables which is on now until 23rd August at the Theatre Royal in Brighton! Congratulations to our student Maia who was recently invited to join the emerging talent programme starting in September at Italia Conti following her summer intensive 💫 Maia also recently received her Royal Academy of Dance exam results! Our lovely student Matilda has thoroughly enjoyed her summer intensives at YBS and more recently at Junior Masterclasses Prague! Saturday evening watching National Youth Dance Company’s Gravity by Boy Blue at Sadlers Wells was simply sensational! A special occasion for this lovely, hard working and determined dancer! Following all her pre pointe preparation she was recently told “you’re now ready to get pointe shoes”. 🩰 A few weeks back, a very excited Orla had a lovely day out in London and was fitted with her first pair of Bloch pointe shoes! What a lovely way to end Easter Grinstead festival with brother and sister duo invited by the adjudicator to perform their solos at the bursary class just before the prize giving yesterday. Zak performed his contemporary solo and Ella her lyrical solo. 🌟🌟 Thank you @eg_maf 🙏- a real honour for our dancers to be invited to dance again. 🥰 We’re thrilled to announce that Zak was the winner of the bursary class! 🙌🏻 He was also awarded the cup for the highest mark for a male dancer throughout the festival 🏆 Well done to all the dancers in the bursary class and all the prizewinners!
